Traditionally, at the beginning of the academic year, undergraduates and group curators hold various interesting and unique dedications to students at the faculties of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University.
On September 17, 2021, Faculty of Geography, Tourism and History hosted the dedication of freshmen majoring in “Geography”, which was organized by second-year students. The festive event also was prepared with the help of curators – Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Geography and Methods of Teaching O.Y. Lakomova and assistant of the department T.A. Karpenko.
The dedication began with an interesting trip to the Karachunjovsky Reservoir. There a lively quest with various geographical tasks waited for the freshmen.
Lecturers also prepared an exciting marathon, which included questions of varying complexity from different fields of geography. The students gladly took part in the discussions and actively demonstrated their knowledge.
Attendees were also suggested to join a dance flashmob, where everyone could learn new dancing movements accompanied by fun and inflammatory songs.
At the end of dedication, a small picnic was organized, where everyone tasted delicious marching dishes prepared on fire.
