The Centre of Postgraduate Education and Pre-University Training, which operates on the basis of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University, provides high-quality training for students, who are willing to enter higher educational institutions. The courses are designed to successfully complete an External Independent Assessment (ZNO) in the main school disciplines.

     The press-center collected an informative digest about the programs of the training courses. This time the focus was on the biology program.

     Courses of Natural Sciences last for 8 months, during which students master the necessary basis required for testing. The training covers the following structural components: introduction and thematic blocks, in particular “Plant Biology”, “Animal Biology”, “Human and its Health”, “General Biology”.

     The program of intensive training provides lectures and practical classes. The appropriate type of lesson is determined depending on the complexity, content and scope of a particular topic. Totally, 176 academic hours are devoted to the study of all 59 subtopics.

     According to the time distribution, the greatest attention is paid to the following fields: solving problems in molecular biology, genetics and ecology; studying the structure and function of the spinal cord and brain, sense organs, analyzers; peculiarities of structure and life of flowering plants and their diversity.
