Conference on Professional Development in the Digitized Society is a peer-reviewed international conference focusing on research advances and applications of combined use of computer hardware, software, and educational theory and practice to facilitate professional development.

Authors are invited to submit full (and original research) papers (at least 10 pages) including surveys, tutorials, perspective/colloquia articles in conference topics of interest through the HotCRP (https://notso.easyscience.education/pddig/2021/)
by September 20, 2021.

PDDig 2021 uses one-column CEURART style for the proceedings (https://cte.ccjournals.eu/cte2021/CEURART.zip). Therefore, for preparing your submission please STRICTLY FOLLOW the Guidelines to format your document for CEUR-WS (http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/sample-1col.pdf) and use sample-1col.tex file from CEURART.zip as template. Your submission should be prepared using LaTeX and one-column CEURART style.

Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by three reviewers on the basis of technical quality, relevance, originality, significance, and clarity. If necessary, a fourth, additional reviewer will be involved. The Program Committee will use these reviews to determine which papers will be accepted for presentation at the conference. The result of the reviewing will be announced to the submitting authors by email, along with reviewer comments, if any.

CoSinE 2021 as is

CoSinE is a peer-reviewed international workshop focusing on theory and practice of computer simulation in education. This workshop was founded by Illia O. Teplytskyi (1941-2018), whose pioneering works in the field of computer simulation in education inspires us.

CoSinE puts special emphasis on real-world applications of computer simulation in education. Therefore, all contributors are strongly encouraged to demonstrate how and for what purpose the proposed solutions are to be used. Examples could be taken from case studies involving new tools and/or methodological approaches in education, experimental studies with usable learning applications, or surveys revealing new modelling tools in educational research and practice.

The CoSinE 2021 program will include a presentation of the accomplished work and works in progress.

CoSinE does not charge any workshop fee. Participation is free.

CoSinE topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

Submission Types and Requirements

CoSinE solicits (i) full research papers, (ii) discussion, survey, or problem analysis papers, (iii) short/research-in-progress papers. The same evaluation criteria as are used at the ICTERI 2021 Conference. Please refer to http://icteri.org/icteri-2021/submission-types/ for more details.

Submission Guidelines

The language of CoSinE is English. Submissions in any other language will be rejected without review. Presentations in any other language are accepted.

All submissions shall be annotated by the key words/phrases freely chosen by the authors. At least three and at most five key phrases have to be provided.

All submissions must comply with the Springer LNCS format guidelines. Formatting instructions and template, as well as submission guidelines, are provided for your convenience at the ICTERI 2021 web site: http://icteri.org/icteri-2021/.

Please submit your paper to the ICTERI-2021 CoSinE Workshop Track.

Evaluation of Workshop Papers

Every submission will be evaluated by at least three members of the CoSinE Program Committee. Based on evaluation results, the best papers will be accepted for their presentation at the workshop and publication in the proceedings. To ensure the overall high quality of proceedings volume, ICTERI 2021 Program Chairs will do final checks of the papers recommend for the inclusion in the proceedings. In this context, we retain our right to not accept the papers which do not meet the quality standard of ICTERI. Keeping this standard at a persistently high level is crucial for further ICTERI series publications.

Publication of CoSinE 2021

1. Only papers written in proper English can be recommended, if accepted by the CoSinE Program Committee and ICTERI Program Chairs, for the inclusion into the ICTERI 2021 Workshop Proceedings which will be published electronically at CEUR-WS (indexed by DBLP and Scopus).

2. The best papers among the accepted and presented at the conference will be selected and invited by the ICTERI 2021 Steering Committee to be revised and extended for the ICTERI post-proceedings volume by Springer Communications in the Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series.

Presentation

Accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of their authors, who commit to register and attend the workshop. Workshop organizers will withdraw the paper from the publication in CEUR-WS proceedings if the author(s) do not present their paper at the workshop.

11 лютого 2021 року професор кафедри інформатики та прикладної математики Криворізького державного педагогічного університету, д-ра пед. наук, проф. Семеріков Сергій Олексійович виступив з доповіддю «Тематика і перспективи розвитку наукових досліджень спільної науково-дослідної лабораторії "Технології хмарних обчислень в освіті"» на звітній науковій конференції Інституту Інформаційних технологій і засобів навчання НАПН України.
Зокрема, у своїй розповіді Сергій Олексійович акцентував увагу на успіхах членів лабораторії і у здійсненні самостійних наукових пошуків, і у організації та проведенні заходів різного рівня та анонсував низку заходів на 2021 рік - приємного та змістового перегляду!

Наукові і науково-технічні роботи, які виконуються в межах кафедральної тематики:

Комплексна тема «Синергетичні методи моделювання, проектування та прогнозування складних систем природного і штучного походження» затверджена рішенням Вченої ради університету на початку 2017 р. У відповідності до плану за звітний період виконувався 4 етап роботи за різними підтемами.

1. Проектування інноваційних освітніх технологій і засобів навчання. Виконавці – С.О. Семеріков, С.В. Шокалюк, І.С. Мінтій, О.В. Мерзликін. Підтема 3 етапу: Проектування мобільних засобів навчання майбутніх учителів.

2. Теоретичні і прикладні аспекти функціонування приладів наноелектроніки. Виконавці – Н.В. Моісеєнко, О.М. Степанюк, В.М. Соловйов, О.Ю. Тарасова. Підтема 3 етапу: Моделювання основних механізмів деградації та природного старіння матеріалів і приладів наноелектроніки.

3. Інтелектуальний аналіз потоків даних. Виконавці – В.М. Соловйов. Підтема 3 етапу: Створення і адаптація універсального прикладного програмного забезпечення для задач прогнозування. 

4. Моделювання процесів творчого мислення. Виконавці – Н.А. Хараджян, П.В. Мерзликін, І.С. Закарлюка. Підтема 3 етапу: Адаптація кількісних методів оцінки складності у процесі педагогічної синергії.

5. Комплексні методи пошуків та прогнозів границь джерел аномальних полів у Земній корі. Виконавець – П.О. Міненко.
