Call For Papers

CoSinE is a regular peer-reviewed international workshop co-located with CITEd focusing on theory and practice of computer simulation in education. This workshop was founded by Illia O. Teplytskyi (1941–2018), which pioneering works in the field of computer simulation in education are inspired us.
CoSinE puts special emphasis on real-world applications of computer simulation in education. Therefore, all contributors are strongly encouraged to demonstrate how and for what purpose the proposed solutions are to be used. Examples could be taken from case studies involving new tools and/or methodological approaches in education, experimental studies with usable learning applications, or surveys revealing new modelling tools in educational research and practice.
The program of CoSinE 2022 will include a contributed presentations of the accomplished work and work in progress. The workshop will be full day.

Digital Humanities Workshop (DHW) is a peer-reviewed international workshop focusing on applications of digital technologies to the study of the humanities with the recognition that the printed word is no longer the main medium for knowledge production and distribution.

How much does it cost to join the workshop? You need to pay 75 GBP to register for the workshop (one payment per paper).

How can I get a free registration? If you have written a paper that is related to one of the topics of the workshop, you might be eligible for a free registration. The Academy of Cognitive and Natural Sciences gives 7 Best Paper Awards every year to the best papers from Ukraine on each topic. If you win one of these awards, you don’t have to pay the registration fee. This is a great opportunity to show your excellent research and save some money.

The only language of CoSinE submissions is English. Due to promoting scientific communication, CoSinE live talks can be in any language (but we prefer English).

All submissions must comply with the paper formatting guideline (https://iconmasted.easyscience.education/2024/example.pdf). You should use Workshop LaTeX2e class file (https://iconmasted.easyscience.education/2024/jpconf-withexample.zip) for the CoSinE submissions.

Evaluation of Workshop Papers

Every submission will be evaluated by at least three members of the CoSinE Program Committee. Based on evaluation results, the best papers will be accepted for their presentation at the workshop and publication in the proceedings.

Publication of CoSinE 2024

Accepted papers will be submitted to the open access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (Online ISSN: 1742-6596 / publisher: IOP Publishing) in three months after the workshop.

Presentation

Accepted papers must be presented at the conference by one of their authors, who commit to register and attend the workshop. Workshop organizers will withdraw the paper from the publication if the author(s) do not attend the workshop.

Statement on Venue

During the war in Ukraine, the Main Conference and Satellite Workshops will be in hybrid mode (both in-person and online).
